Xinhua township is a new township separated from the former welfare commune in 1984, located in the east of Fuchuan Yao Autonomous County. It borders on Dashiqiao, Taowei, Hekou and other villages and towns in Jianghua Yao Autonomous County in Hunan Province in the East, Lianshan, Gucheng, Fuli and other villages and towns in the south, West and North, with a total area of 103.6 square kilometers.
