Yongshun District

Old place names. It was originally a town (area) under the jurisdiction of Tongzhou District, Beijing. It is located in the north of the area. By the end of 2006, it had an area of 39.46 square kilometers, a population of 195194 (in 2010) and 21 administrative villages. The Office (town government) is located at 33 Xinhua North Street. Beijing Harbin expressway, Jingtong Expressway and Beijing Chengde railway and Beijing Qinhuangdao railway transit.

Evolution of organizational system

Tongzhou town commune was established in 1958, Chengguan commune was renamed in 1965, Chengguan Township was changed in 1983, and the town was established in 1990. With an area of 43 square kilometers and a population of 34000, it governs 22 administrative villages including Shangying, Qiaozhuang, Xiaoshengmiao, Nanguan, Guoyuan, Yangzhuang, zhumuchang, Ximazhuang, dengjiayao, Yongshun, qianshangpo, Xinjian, Beimazhuang, Fanzhuang, Liuzhuang, Lizhuang, jiaowangzhuang, Sutuo, xiaoluyi, Longwangzhuang, Gengzhuang and Wangjiachang.

In 1997, Chengguan town was abolished and Yongshun sub district office was set up. In 2000, established towns were set up in Yongshun District Office, implementing "one set of people and two brands".

In 2020, Yongshun District Office will be abolished and the town system will be retained.

At the end of 2002, the office was located at 33 Xinhua North Street, covering an area of 31.51 square kilometers and with a population of 52600. It has 21 administrative villages, namely Shangying, Qiaozhuang, Xiaoshengmiao, Nanguan, Guoyuan, Yangzhuang, Liuzhuang, Fanzhuang, Lizhuang, Gengzhuang, Ximazhuang, Beimazhuang, jiaowangzhuang, Longwangzhuang, Yongshun, qianshangpo, dengjiayao, Xinjian, Wangjiachang, xiaoluyi and Sutuo. In 2008, it has jurisdiction over 15 communities and 24 administrative villages.
