Dongxing Township
Dongxing township is located in the southeast of Dachuan District, 45 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Maliu town in the East, Fushan town and Jingshi town in the west, Dafeng Town in the north, Wanjia town and Huangdu town in the south. The township is high in the West and low in the East, with the highest elevation of 910 meters in Ronghua mountain and the lowest elevation of 374 meters in liangjiaba. It is between 107 ° 38 ′ E and 31 ° 00 ′ n. It has a subtropical climate with four distinct seasons and 299 frost free days, covering an area of 35.23 square kilometers. Now it has jurisdiction over 16 villages, 137 communities, 1 neighborhood committee, 17625 people (2017), with a cultivated area of 14568 mu.
Historical origin
In the early Qing Dynasty, Dongxing was called songjiaguan. During the reign of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty, it was named Xinglongchang. In 1934, it was renamed dongxinglong town. In 1940, it merged with Huangdu township to become Xingdu township. In 1942, it was called Dongxing township. In 1958, it was renamed Dongfeng people's commune. It was repeated in 1959 and is still used today.

Economic situation
Dongxing township is located in shallow hills, rich in rice, wheat, corn, sweet potato and sericulture, ramie, tobacco, fruits, medicinal materials and other grain crops. From 1986 to 2005, the grain production was bumper year by year, the total grain output was more than 8400 tons, and the total social output value was more than 77 million yuan. Among them, sericulture production has developed rapidly, with an annual Cocoon Output of more than 18 tons. the territory is rich in natural gas, coal and limestone. The widest part of the coal seam is 3.5m and the recoverable capacity is 3 million tons. Since 1992, East Sichuan natural gas drilling company has been drilling in China and has developed two natural gas wells with a daily output of 100 cubic meters. There are abundant timber resources in the township, including 1105 mu of state-owned forest and 5210 mu of afforestation.
Water resources
There are 18 shanpingtang, 1 small reservoir and 7 canals in the township, with a total length of 24.6 km, a total water storage of 1.24 million cubic meters and an effective irrigation area of 8486.1 mu, accounting for 74% of the total rice irrigation area in the township.
Traffic construction
By 2005, 21 new rural roads with a total length of 81 kilometers have been built in the township, and all of them have been hardened into cement roads, realizing the road access of village groups and more than 90% of the villagers,
