Yongsheng township is located in Taobei District, Baicheng City, Jilin Province, adjacent to Ping'an town in the East and North, a river in Xingye township of Taonan city in the West and Taodong Township in the south. It has jurisdiction over HongRi village, Hongsheng village, Hedong Village, Renhe Village, Dongfanghong village, Sansheng village, Changsheng village, Guanghui village, Chunguang village, Limin Village and Risheng village. Yongsheng means good luck. In the Qing Dynasty, it was a Mongolian Nomadic land, belonging to the territory of zasaktu county. In 1911 (the third year of Xuantong), it was under the jurisdiction of Jing'an county (Baicheng county). On February 16, 2005, the former Yongsheng township was merged with Taodong Township, and the name of the township was "Dong" of Taodong Township and "Sheng" of Yongsheng township. It covers an area of 163.45 square kilometers. The population is 24712. The township government is stationed in 30 villages. It has jurisdiction over Yonghe village, Xinhe village, Qingsheng village, fenzhan village, Sanhao village, Xiaoguang village, Yangshu village, Youli village, Liuhe village, Heping Village, RI village, Hongsheng village, etc.
