Sipai town

Sipai Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Luzhai County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, has a total area of 356.6 square kilometers. It is located in the semi mountainous area and belongs to the hilly area. It is high in the northeast and low in the southwest, presenting an irregular rectangle. The cultivated land area is 81438 mu, including 53356 mu of paddy field and 14460 mu of dry land. The forest land is 160000 mu. On May 8, 2014, approved by the people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Sipai town was established on December 30, 2014.

Introduction to villages and towns

National Highway 323 runs across the township, and the main river is Baihe River. It enters from Toupai Town, flows through five villagers' committees, namely sanpai, Simin, Sipai, Baihe and Dezhan, and flows northward into zhaisha town and joins Shiliu River, with a total length of 12 km. The main mountains in the territory are pig liver gall, 572 meters above sea level; ancient ridge 401 meters. The water conservancy project has two main canals, flowing from east to west according to the mountains, with a total length of 18 kilometers. It can irrigate 7279 mu of farmland of three villagers' committees, namely, sanpai, Simin and Sipai. There are 3 small type 1 reservoirs, 23 small type 2 reservoirs and 157 Shantang reservoirs with a total reservoir capacity of 14.5 million cubic meters, which can irrigate 12500 mu of paddy fields, 3 electric irrigation stations, 1 normal use, 2500 mu of machine irrigation and 15000 mu of effective irrigation. In the tingxiutun reach of Baihe River, a hydrological station has been built in the autonomous region to provide information for water conservancy, electric power and national economic construction.

Sipai town is located in the low latitude and belongs to the transition zone from south subtropical to middle subtropical, which is obviously affected by the monsoon circulation. The territory has a mild climate, with an annual average temperature of about 20 ℃, a maximum temperature of 38 ℃ in summer and a minimum temperature of 0 ℃ in winter. The rainfall is abundant, with an average annual rainfall of 1500 mm, mainly from April to August. The annual average sunshine is about 1600 hours, and the frost free period is more than 320 days, which is suitable for crop growth.

tourist resources

There are 25 ancient tombs of the Han Dynasty in Litan, one kilometer away from Sipai township government. In 1958, three ancient tombs were excavated during the construction of water conservancy channels. The chambers were made of Han bricks and shaped like culverts. They were 2 meters in diameter and 10 meters in length, and each had a circular ear room in the middle. The top of the tomb is one meter above the ground. There are patterns carved on the excavated bricks, such as wheel pattern, cloud and thunder pattern, and Han Dynasty pottery burial objects. The tombs have been listed as cultural relics protection units at the county level.
