Jianshe Township

Jianshe township is located in the southwest of Jiaxing City, at the junction of Tongxiang, Haining and other cities, with an altitude of 42 meters. The terrain is slightly undulating. There are major rivers such as Lianhua port and hongjiangang in Jianshe Township, which are connected with the grand canal outside and densely covered river banks inside, forming the unique natural environment of Jiangnan Water township.

Origin of township name

Before and after liberation, the construction of shuangyun Township and Wenxiang Township were respectively part of the construction. In 1950, JianZheng was the three townships of shaoqiao, Xinyun and Zhuangqing. When the three townships were merged in 1956, it was the climax of socialist construction, so it was named Jianshe township. Jianshe commune was established in October 1958, merged into Wangdian commune in March 1960, became an independent Jianshe commune in April 1961, and renamed Jianshe Township in 1984.

In 1985, the highway connecting Jiaxing and Haining was built, the Shanghai Hangzhou Expressway crossed the territory obliquely, and the Lianhua port crossed the whole township. Huaniaogong village, a famous village

In October 1995, huayuanlou, niaozhun and xiegangqiao were merged into three small villages. In 1997, the village invested 800000 yuan to build a modern agricultural park with a total area of 420 mu, and set up an agricultural production base with sericulture, beer barley, high-quality rice, beef cattle, Hu sheep, live pigs, fruits and vegetables, and oilseeds, taking a new step of benefit agriculture and agricultural industrialization. In industry, by 1998, it had 2 limited liability companies, 1 joint-stock cooperative enterprise, 3 private enterprises and about 800 individual flat knitting machines. In 1996, it invested 80000 yuan to install cable TV in the whole village. At the beginning of 1997, tap water was gradually installed, and the goal of standardized construction of qualified villages for electric power was achieved. At present, there are 150 residential telephones, and the per capita net income of farmers is 3830 yuan. In 1997, it reached the new rural standard set by the province.

Shen Shenglong

Shen Shenglong, born in 1950, is a native of Jianshe village. In 1987, the township ramie textile factory was on the verge of bankruptcy due to policy losses and poor management. That year, Shen Shenglong took office. Through continuous efforts, the factory finally walked out of the trough and entered into glory. In 1993, the factory changed its name to Jiaxing Longyuan sericite Textile Co., Ltd. and was rated as a star enterprise in the district for five consecutive years. Shen Shenglong has also been awarded the titles of excellent Township entrepreneur and excellent star entrepreneur by provincial, municipal and district governments.

The disappearing Custom -- the praise poem of Shangliang

In the old days, when people built new houses, on the day of Shangliang, they had to let the muddy carpenter sing on Lu Bantai to celebrate. This is called Shangliang zanshifeng. The craftsmen built a Luban terrace on the square timber in front of and behind the main beam. When the auspicious time came, the beam began to praise poetry. The general procedure is as follows: at first, the youngest apprentice of the craftsman climbed the wooden ladder and sang "step by step on the cloud ladder" to Luban stage. Then he sat or stood on the stage and sang one or two paragraphs. Then he came down and talked about seniority. From small to large, each apprentice went up and sang a few paragraphs in turn. The lyrics can follow the script or be edited and sung, but the first sentence must be "step by step on the cloud ladder". After singing a few passages of "stepping on the ladder step by step", the last one who appeared on the stage formally praised the poem cover. Most of the contents were good words, such as blessing the owner's golden title, long life and wealth, recruiting wealth, and so on. Then he sang all kinds of flower names, all of which came from different plays. At the same time as the headmaster praised the poem, other muddy water carpenters helped out on the stage, and the lining word was "Lang Liu Yuan". After the headmaster had a good time singing, he threw the flower cakes, steamed bread and candy on the stage into the crowd one after another, and the crowd came forward to snatch them happily.
