Longshan Town is under the jurisdiction of Youyi county. It is located at the southwest border of the county, connecting Shuangyashan City in the South and West, and Jixian County in the northwest. The town government is 32 kilometers away from the county seat. Longshan Town is named because it lives at the foot of laolongshan. Originally known as friendship farm coal mine, the mine was built in 1969, known as "shibatuan coal mine", and renamed friendship farm coal mine in 1977. In August 1985, the coal mine and forest farm were merged and Longshan Town was set up. It is an industrial and mining forest town. The town has jurisdiction over Longshan, Beifeng, Xifeng, Weidong, Chaoyang and other five villages. By the end of 2007, the total population of the town was 4014, including 3249 non-agricultural population. The town government is located in Longshan Village.
