Zhonghe Town, belonging to Gaolan County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Gaolan County, bordering Shichuan town in the East, Chengguan District of Lanzhou City in the south, Jiuhe town in the West and Shuifu Township in the north. The area is 251 square kilometers. In 2018, 18747 people registered residence.

In 1955, it was established as Zhonghe township. In 1958, it was changed to Zhonghe commune. In June 1983, it was changed to Zhonghe township. In August 2000, the township was withdrawn to build Zhonghe town. In June 2020, Zhonghe town governs one community and eight administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 70 industrial enterprises in Zhonghe Town, including 6 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In June 2020, Zhonghe town governs one community and eight administrative villages: Yanchi community, Zhonghe village, Yachuan village, Fengdeng village, Pingxian village, Liuhe village, Yanchi village, luoguan village and Shuiyuan village. The town people's government is stationed in Yachuan village.
