Qinglong Town

Qinglong Town is located in the east of Tuojiang River in Jianyang City, 23 kilometers away from the urban area of Jianyang City. It is adjacent to Sanhe Town in the East, Pingwu town in the south, Shizhong town in the west, and Sanxing town in the north. It is the only way for Jiancheng to Sanxing and Jintang highways.

On December 23, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Chengdu to adjust the administrative divisions of 15 counties (cities, districts) including Longquanyi District (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2019] No. 24): the democratic village of Shizhong town was put under the jurisdiction of Qinglong Town, and the people's Government of Qinglong Town was stationed at No. 152 Changshou street.

Qinglong Town is located in the east of Tuojiang River in Jianyang City, 23 kilometers away from the urban area of Jianyang City. It is adjacent to Sanhe Town in the East, Pingwu town in the south, Shizhong town in the west, and Sanxing town in the north. It is the only way for Jiancheng to Sanxing and Jintang highways. The town covers an area of 41 square kilometers, with 17 administrative villages, 164 agricultural production cooperatives and a resident group. The total population of the town is 16359 (2017). The area of cultivated land is 27116 mu, with 1.15 mu per capita. There are 1 junior high school, 1 central school, 6 village primary schools, 2 kindergartens and 6 drugstores in the area. Jianyang psychiatric hospital is in the town. Qinglong Town has obvious location advantages, convenient transportation, fertile land and sufficient water. Rich in wheat, rape, rice, corn, peanuts, breeding pigs, goats, etc., annual migrant workers more than 4500 people. Villages and towns have brick factories, prefabrication plants, flour processing, etc. The teaching quality of Qinglong Town is excellent, and it has always been in the leading position in the three-star area. In 2013, it was the first time for the graduating class to make a documentary to commemorate the junior high school life, which is also the first case in the three-star area. Qinglong Town achieved 54.9 million yuan of GDP in 2004, including 28.91 million yuan of agricultural output value, 115 million yuan of township enterprises output value, 1.112 million yuan of fiscal revenue and 2374 yuan of per capita net income of farmers.
