Longshan Town

Longshan Town is located in the east of Nanjing County, 35 kilometers away from the county. It has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 23 administrative villages. Two tributaries of Jiulong River pass through the territory. Longshan Town has convenient transportation. There are 319 National Highway, Xiamen Chengdu expressway, Zhanglong Expressway and Longshan Zhendong station. It is the first station named after the town in Fujian Province. Of the 171 km long Xiamen railway, 63.2 km is located in Nanjing County, Zhangzhou.

On June 29, 2020, it will be included in the list of provincial rural governance demonstration towns.

Longshan Town is a key town in Zhangzhou city. It is located in Nanjing County in the golden triangle of Southern Fujian. It connects Tianbao town in Xiangcheng District and Rixin and Guangu town in Hua'an County in the East, Chuanchang town in the west, Shancheng and Toyota in the south, and Gaoan boundary in Jinshan and Hua'an in the north.

At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was a district level system, and then it was changed into a township. In 1958, the township was removed to build a town with a total area of 319 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over two neighborhood committees and 23 administrative villages, with a population of 38000 people. It has a cultivated land area of 40000 Mu and a mountainous area of 330000 mu. National Highway 319 runs through the East and West, and Jiulong River Xixi flows through the whole territory. It is an important transportation thoroughfare and an important distribution center of agricultural and sideline products in southwest Fujian.

Recently, the Fujian Branch of Guchuan United Bank and Longshan Town, Fujian Province, which is known as the "hometown of Mazhu", reached a consensus on basic investment cooperation and signed a strategic cooperation contract to jointly promote the economic development of pillar industries in Longshan Town with the help of their own advantages.

Longshan commune was established in 1958, township was changed in 1984, and town was changed in 1989. In 1997, with an area of 280 square kilometers and a population of 37000, it has jurisdiction over 23 village committees and Longfeng neighborhood committees, including Zhuxi, Jinxi, Longshan, Dongai, Yongkou, Yongbei, Wuying, Xishan, Baodou, Pingpu, nanzhe, Penglai, Nanping, Tangxi, Taibao, Shuangming, Shangyuan, haizai, pingzhong, Weipu, Jinshan, Kuishan and Jinshan.

Climate and environment

Longshan Town is a subtropical and hilly area with mild climate, gentle mountain slope, fertile land, annual rainfall of 1500-1800 mm, annual frost free period of more than 360 days, average temperature of 21 ℃, abundant rainfall, cultivated land area of 40000 Mu and mountainous area of 330000 mu. It is one of the important sugarcane production bases in Nanjing County. On the basis of "stabilizing grain and protecting sugarcane", the party season and government of the town take measures based on the situation of the town "Town, village, group, household" four rounds of driving method, implement the development strategy of "forest, fruit and bamboo together, green and rich together", and actively mobilize the masses to march into the mountains to establish green enterprises.

In 2015, there were 25 projects under construction in the town, including 6 municipal key projects and 2 county-level key projects, with a total investment of 1.36 billion yuan. By September, 1.28 billion yuan had been invested in key projects of cities and counties. The project has completed the land acquisition of 1200 mu. In the past six months, one new project has been started, three completed projects have been completed, and three new large-scale industrial enterprises have been added.

Pingpu Fumei village, minhangfa H-beam technical transformation project and Baihui green sea modern agriculture project are listed as the alternative projects by the county Party committee and the county government to meet the year-end training work inspection of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government.

Citrus, banana, Dendrocalamus latiflorus, longan, pomelo, olive, tannin extract, Chinese fir and other ten thousand mu agricultural bases are rich in citrus, banana, Dendrocalamus latiflorus, pineapple, longan, pomelo and other famous and special fruits, with an annual output of 35 million kg of fruits, including 25 million kg of Citrus, 56000 mu of Dendrocalamus latiflorus, and 22 million kg of Dendrocalamus latiflorus The development of township enterprises provides abundant raw materials for production, and the per capita income of fruit bamboo in the town is nearly 1500 yuan.
