Siqianwang reservoir was built in August 1958 and completed in December 1971. It has a total capacity of 3.34 million cubic meters and a main stream length of 8 kilometers. It is a small (first) type reservoir.

The dam type is sand crust clay wall dam. In June 1973, the construction of Yaoling reservoir was started on its upstream. It was completed in October 1988, with a total reservoir capacity of 1.65 million cubic meters and a mainstream length of 8.1 km. It is also a small reservoir. Surrounded by green hills and beautiful scenery, siqianwang reservoir is a good place for fishing, leisure and sightseeing. Especially, it matches with Yaoling reservoir to form a unique "reservoir in reservoir" scene. Every year in the rainy season, the water is sparkling and smoky. After the heavy rain, the sluice releases water and the waterfall hangs horizontally. Especially on the Yaoling stone dam, the overflowing water waves roll up and down the warped dam body, which is spectacular.
