Beishan Township
Beishan Township, belonging to Menyuan Hui Autonomous County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the middle and north of Menyuan County. It is adjacent to Xitan Township in the East, Haomen town in the south, Haomen farm across Laohugou River in the west, and Sunan County in Gansu Province. It is 7 kilometers away from the county. The area is 93.2 square kilometers. In 2018, 7942 people registered residence.
In 1938, it belonged to the first district. In 1953, it was Beishan Township, the first district. In 1956, Beishan township was under the jurisdiction of the county. In 1958, it belonged to the red flag people's commune. After 1962, it was established as Beishan people's commune. In 1984, it was restored to Beishan township. As of October 2019, Beishan rural has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 7 industrial enterprises in Beishan Township and 1 comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

The area is 93.2 square kilometers.

Beishan township has a cold and humid climate, rich and stable rainfall, with an average annual temperature of 0.5 ℃ and an annual precipitation of 518 mm. Siberia is cold and dry for half a year. In summer, the climate is cool and humid due to the southwest warm and humid air flow in the bay of Bengal. It is snowy and windy in spring, cool and rainy in summer, mild and short in autumn and cold and long in winter. Due to the influence of climate and geographical environment, frost, hail and other natural disasters occur frequently.
