Yangping Township

Yangping township is located in Xichuan, Kelan county. Yangping village, where the Township People's government is located, is 15km away from the county. The township has 13 administrative villages with 1087 permanent residents (in 2017), with a total area of 199.88 square kilometers, including 12000 mu of forest land, 93000 mu of grazing slope area (including 44000 mu of suitable forest area), 21000 mu of cultivated land and 2100 mu of beach area. The average altitude is 1200m, the frost free period is 140 days, the average annual sunshine hours is 2752 hours, the effective accumulated temperature is 3100 ℃ and the average annual rainfall is 450mm.
