Jiefang Township
Jiefang Township, belonging to Yi'an County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the east of Yi'an County, adjacent to Changrong Township and Changchun Town of Baiquan County in the East. The total administrative area is 133.97 square kilometers. Township government is located in Jiefang village, 37 kilometers away from the county. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Baiquan County. During the puppet Manchukuo period, it belonged to the fourth police department. In June 1961, Shuangyang commune, Baoquan commune and central commune were separated to form Jiefang commune. In 1984, Jiefang commune was transformed into Jiefang township.
