Jingxing town
Jingxing town is under the jurisdiction of Longjiang County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. It is located in the southwest of Longjiang County, facing Guanghou Township across the river in the East, Xingshan Township in the south, arbengele town in zate banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the West and Shanquan town in the north. The total area is 560.25 square kilometers. In 1964, it was changed to Jingxing town. In 2019, Jingxing town governs 2 communities and 18 administrative villages. At the end of 2018, the population of Jing Xing town registered residence was 61102.
In 2018, there were 6 industrial enterprises in Jingxing Town, including 2 Enterprises above Designated Size and 217 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 51 square meters.
On July 24, 2019, Jingxing town was selected into the list of national strong agricultural towns in 2019.

In the third year of the Republic of China (July 1914), the auxiliary Bureau of Jingxing town was changed to Longjiang County in October.
In the fourth year of the Republic of China (March 1915), Jingxing was changed to set up a governing Bureau, belonging to Longjiang Road.
In 1929, Jingxing set up a governing Bureau, promoted to the third grade County, and the county office was stationed in Jingxing Town, which was directly controlled by Heilongjiang Province. After the fall of Northeast China, it belonged to Heilongjiang Province.
In the 23rd year of the Republic of China (December 1934), it was transferred to Longjiang Province. In 1945, it was transferred to Nenjiang province.
In May 1949, it was transferred to Heilongjiang Province. In August 1954, it belongs to Nenjiang special area.
In March 1956, it was merged into Longjiang County and Jingxing district was changed into a town. In 1958, it was changed to Jingxing town commune. In 1964, it was changed to Jingxing town. In 1983, it governed 16 villages and 2 streets. In 2002, Shuifa township was incorporated into the city. In 2004, xinglongchuan township was incorporated.

Jingxing town is located in the eastern margin of Daxing'anling uplift area of the third uplift belt of Xinhua Xia system, connecting with the western margin of Songliao subsidence area of the second subsidence belt, with rivers in the East and South and mountains in the West and North. The terrain is flat, higher in the northwest and lower in the southeast, with small slope.

Jingxing town has a warm monsoon climate, which is characterized by obvious changes in cold and summer. It is affected by Siberian low temperature in winter and controlled by North Pacific high in summer. Winter is long and dry; spring is windy and rainy; summer is short and warm with concentrated rainfall; autumn is cooling sharply with early frost.

The main rivers in Jingxing town are Yalu River, Dahan River and Quanshui River, which belong to Nenjiang river system and are perennial rivers. Yalu River is located in the east of the territory and runs through the whole territory. It is the boundary river between Jingxing and eastern towns, with a total length of 162 km. Dajun River, also known as hadaikan River, originates from handagan nutuk in zate banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, flows into Jingxing town after confluence of Baimiaozi River and wuergen river. Quanshui river originates from Shanquan Town, flows through Daduchuan and Shuifa village in the southeast, and flows into East miaojiatun of Yuejin Village It flows into the Yalu River.

The origin of place names
The origin of the name "Jingxing" is that there is a mountain in the north of the city, which is named "Jingxing mountain".
