Jincheng Township

Jincheng is named after Jincheng temple. Located at the northeast edge of Langzhong City, Sichuan Province, a famous historical and cultural city in China, it is 39km above sea level of 488m. It has jurisdiction over six natural administrative villages, including Jinyu, Qilin, wenchongya, tuishan, Minle and Dashan, with 26 villager groups, 2496 households and 7030 people, covering an area of 21.3 km. It has 5467 mu of cultivated land, bordering Liangshui, Miaogo, Yutai, Dayi town and Huilong township of Yilong County, Jiming county and Niuhe Wuxiang township. It used to be under the jurisdiction of Erlong District, but later it was under the jurisdiction of Hexi District. In the first institutional reform, Liangshui township was merged, and in the second, because it was located in remote mountainous areas, it became an independent township.

On October 29, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved Nanchong to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns (streets) in 7 counties (cities, districts) including Gaoping District (Chuanfu Civil Affairs [2019] No. 7): Jincheng township was canceled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of miaogao town, and the people's Government of miaogao town was stationed at No. 170 Shangxin street.

Jincheng is a red land. From 1933 to 1934, the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army led by Xu Qianxiang and Li Xiannian moved eastward to fight local tyrants and divide land in Langzhong and establish the Soviet Union, "all power belongs to the peasant association". The suffering Jincheng people actively participated in the Red Army and fought for the liberation of the Chinese people. Many people gave their precious lives. Jincheng not only has a red history, but also has outstanding people. Pu Yunchou, former Secretary of the Party branch of Qilin village, was awarded the title of "national leader of getting rich through science and technology" by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the State Science and Technology Commission. Cao Renwei, a member of the Communist Party of China and deputy to the Municipal People's Congress, has won the third China outstanding youth nomination award, the honorary title of top ten outstanding young farmers in Sichuan Province and agricultural labor model in Sichuan Province, and was cordially received by General Secretary Hu Jintao. Wang Fucheng, former principal of Jincheng primary school, was rated as an advanced worker in the national education system. There are also the "national advanced individual of self-employed workers" going out from wenchongya village, and the famous farmer entrepreneur Pu Shixin, chairman and general manager of Langzhong Jinlong hotel They are not only the leaders of Jincheng, but also the trendsetters in the new era. They have written a new chapter for the development of Jincheng, created a glorious history and recorded a permanent monument. In recent years, in order to speed up the construction of Township, village and community highways in Jincheng, the original traffic is inconvenient. The whole Township soon formed a consensus that "efforts should be made to build a good mountain road, invigorate the economy and get rich soon". Fushan highway, 38.57 km long, passes through four townships, namely Hexi, miaogao, Jincheng and Liangshui. Nearly 100000 people are involved along the line, and the investment budget of subgrade engineering is 13.49 million yuan. Jincheng section is 8.7 km long. The total estimated investment of the project is 6.24 million yuan, of which 2.21 million yuan is raised by the township, 3.15 million yuan is raised per capita in three years, and 4.04 million yuan is allocated by the city. In early 2006, the municipal government held a mobilization meeting for the reconstruction of Fushan oil road. On November 6, the construction team of Jincheng town officially entered the construction site and started full mechanized operation. In less than two months, the blank road was completed.
