Deyue town is located in the west of Gulin County on the southern edge of Sichuan Province, 15 kilometers away from Gulin county and 456 kilometers away from Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province. Historical evolution

The town hall of Deyue, the seat of the town government, was built in the 50th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty (1785 A.D.). In 1962, it was named Deyue district. in October 1992, the district was withdrawn and the township was built into a town, and 11 villages of BAIXIAN, nanmu and Jiulong towns were divided into Deyue town. In 1992, Deyue town was built from Deyue Township, Baiping Township and Longmei township.
