Weiziyu Town, subordinate to Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of Xinbin Manchu Autonomous County, bordering dashiping town in the East, Xiajiahe Township in the south, maquanquan Township in Fushun County in the West and Yushu Township in the north. It covers an area of 405.71 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 14902 households registered residence in the town of reed valley.

In January 1956, Weiziyu township was established. In May 1961, it was changed into a commune. In 1968, Weiziyu Revolutionary Committee was established. In November 1983, the commune was restored to the township. In October 1984, Weiziyu Manchu Township was established. In June 1985, it was changed to Weiziyu town. As of June 2020, Weiziyu town has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Weiziyu town is located at No. 1, Central Road, Weiziyu village, Weiziyu town.

In 2018, Weiziyu town had 67 industrial enterprises and 37 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
