Lianhe Town, formerly known as Lianhe Township, is a town under the jurisdiction of Youxi County, Sanming City, Fujian Province. Lianhe town was approved by Fujian Provincial People's Government on September 27, 2017.

Lianhe town is the only old revolutionary town in Youxi County. It is located in the north of Youxi County, between 26 ° 17 ′～ 26 ° 24 ′ N and 118 ° 08 ′～ 118 ° 17 ′ e. it is adjacent to taqian town of Nanping City in the north, Meixian town and Xibin town in the West and East respectively.

In 2017, the administrative area of Lianhe town was 10314 hectares, with 15208 permanent residents.

The former administrative region of Lianhe township is the administrative region of Lianhe Town, and the government station remains unchanged. It governs 12 organic villages, 46 natural villages and 173 villager groups in Liandong, Lianhe, Liannan, Lianxi, Dongbian, Yunshan, Lianyun, xiayun, Jimu, Huyang, Huizhou and Lingtou.

Sanming Municipal People's Government:

We have received your request for instructions on the removal of township and establishment of town in Lianhe township of Youxi County (Ming Zheng Wen [2017] No. 65). After research, it was agreed that Youxi County should abolish Lianhe Township and set up Lianhe town. The former administrative region of Lianhe township is the administrative region of Lianhe Town, and the government station remains unchanged.

Under the leadership of Party committees at all levels, governments at all levels in your city should strictly abide by the requirements of the State Council's "three rules" and strictly implement the provisions of the central government on practicing strict economy, conscientiously organize and implement the above-mentioned adjustment of administrative divisions, carry out work convergence in relevant aspects according to law, and properly handle the problems of institutional setup and personnel deployment, so as to ensure stability and promote economic and social development. The funds needed for the above-mentioned administrative division adjustment shall be provided by your city itself.
