Yaojia Street

Yaojia street is subordinate to Lixia District of Jinan, Shandong Province. It was established in June 2007. It is an administrative organization after the adjustment of the original Yaojia town. The total area is about 17.48 square kilometers, with a total of 162929 people (in 2010). It has jurisdiction over 7 villages (residences), housing management committee of jiangshuiquan scenic spot and 2 public institutions of community service center. The district is located in a superior geographical position and convenient transportation. It is adjacent to the district Party committee and the district government. It has a large number of leading enterprises, such as Xinghe private science and Technology Park, Luquan private enterprise park, Huada, Huacheng, Huayi, and so on. There are many provincial, municipal, and district organs. There are two well-known colleges and universities, Shandong University of political science and law and Qilu University of Technology (formerly Shandong Institute of light industry).

Evolution of organizational system

In 1950, the northern part of the town belonged to suburb 2, the southeastern part belonged to suburb 5, and the western part belonged to suburb 6. In 1958, it belonged to the southern suburb and eastern suburb commune of Licheng county. In 1961, it was divided into Niuwang, yaotou and Mengjia communes. In July 1968, Niuwang commune, yaotou commune and Mengjia commune were merged into Xiangyang commune. in 1971, Xiangyang commune was renamed Yaojia commune, with three management areas of Niuwang, Dingjia and Mengjia. in 1980, it was assigned to the suburb of Jinan City, and at the same time, it was assigned to five production teams by Yingxiong mountain commune. He was renamed Yaojia office in December 1983. In September 1985, it was renamed Yaojia Town, and five villages including baliwa were assigned to Qixian town, Shizhong District. On April 15, 1987, after the suburb of Jinan was abolished, Yaojia town was assigned to Lixia District. In June 2007, Yaojia town was changed into Yaojia street.

In 1989, agricultural household registration in Renhe village was transferred to non-agricultural household registration. In May 1990, Wenming residence was changed into the town organ residents committee; yangtouyu village was changed into yangtouyu residents committee; Renhe village was changed into Renhe residents committee and resident committee in Majiazhuang. In July 1990, Lixia District carried out a survey on the division, and yangtouyu residents committee was assigned to Wenhua East Road sub district office; Majiazhuang residents committee was assigned to Heping Road sub district office. In 1990, Liu Zhiyuan Road, Xujia Road, machine tool Sichang Road, xianwenzhuang South Road, Dingjiazhuang South Road, chemical fiber Factory Road, maolingshan Road, yanzishandong Road, zhuanshanxi Road, yangtouyu Road, laoshigou Road, dengdengdengchang South Road, bajianbao Road, jiangshuiquan Road, Longdong road and yaotou road were named. In December 2000, Xiajing village was transferred to Lixia industrial development and Construction Corporation. In June 2001, Niuwang, Xianwen, Xujia and caoshanling villages were entrusted to Jinan high tech Development Zone.

Yaojia street is located in Lixia District of Jinan City. Gongye South Road, Jiefang East Road and Jingshi Road run through the East and West. Erhuan East Road runs west along the street office. The street office is adjacent to Lixia District government. linjiazhuang and Yihezhuang in the East, Wangsheren street and Ganggou street in Licheng District; Majiazhuang and yangtouyu in the west, dianliuxincun street; longdongzhuang in the south, Shilihe Street office in Shizhong District; jiangjiazhuang and bajianbao in the north, Wangsheren Town Street office in Licheng District. It covers an area of 85.38 square kilometers. The terrain is high in the South and low in the north. The geological structure of the southern mountain area is limestone, which is of good quality and easy to be mined. The groundwater level is relatively deep, below 250 meters. The northern part is relatively flat, with soil depth of more than 10 meters and good soil quality, so it is suitable to burn bricks and tiles.

Jiefang East Road and Gongye south road run through the East and West, and the special railway line of Jinan No.2 steel works is connected with Jiaoji railway.
