Dongsheng township, with an area of 54.6 square kilometers, is located in the northeast of Haidian District. The whole Township starts from Xizhimen in the south, borders Changping District in the north, Chaoyang District in the East, National Olympic Park in the East, Zhongguancun Street in the West and Shangdi Information Industry Base in the west, including five village committees, namely, Tayuan, Bajia, Qinghe, Mafang and Xiaoying. It has jurisdiction over Bajia, Mafang and Qiantun neighborhood committees.
