Tuanjie Township

Tuanjie town is under the jurisdiction of Daowai District of Harbin city. Located in the east of the city, the West Bank of Ashe River, it is the junction of cities and towns, and hatong highway passes through the territory. Originally belonging to Dongfeng commune, in October 1961, Heping and Qianjin management area was set up as Tuanjie commune under Taiping District. In March 1963, it was under the jurisdiction of Binjiang District. In August 1972, it was transferred back to Taiping District. In November 1983, the government and society were separated and changed to Tuanjie Township. Later, it was merged with Daowai District, Tuanjie Township was removed from township to town, and Tuanjie town was under the jurisdiction of Daowai District.

The town has a small area of cultivated land, only 3954 mu, and flower arrangement is distributed in the edge of the urban area, mainly planting vegetables and rice, and also engaged in animal husbandry. It is one of the bases of spring and summer vegetables and agricultural and sideline products in Harbin. There are more than 20 backbone enterprises in rural areas, such as Hongguang Industrial Corporation and Harbin cooling and heating fan factory. In 1990, the total social output value of the town was 156 million yuan, which was awarded the title of "China's township star" by the state. In 1992, the total output value of town enterprises reached 232 million yuan, ranking among the top 100 towns in the province. Yuejin, dawning, Dongguang, Weixing, Heping and Qianjin are under the jurisdiction of the town. In 1990, the total population of the town was 16000. The town government is located in daodaokou street.
