Xinglong Township is under the jurisdiction of huma County, Heilongjiang Province. It is located in the Midwest of the county, adjacent to Songling District in the southwest and Xinlin District in the northwest. With a total area of 2888.5 square kilometers, the township has jurisdiction over three villages: Xinglong, erdaopancha and Dalazi.

Xinglong Township is under the jurisdiction of huma county. It is located in the Midwest of the county, adjacent to Songling District in the southwest and Xinlin District in the northwest. The township government is 76 kilometers away from the county seat. Xinglong area has a long history and is famous for its rich gold in Qing Dynasty. In the late Qing Dynasty, due to the large amount of gold mining, the gold mine became more and more prosperous, so it was named "Xinglonggou", later called "Xinglong", which was under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang vice capital. Since the founding of the Republic of China, it has been under the jurisdiction of huma Bureau and huma county. During the prosperous period of gold mining (1911-1916), there were as many as ten thousand gold miners. After the victory of the Anti Japanese war in 1945, it was subordinate to Jinshan District in 1947 and the third district in 1950. In 1956, the township was divided into Xinglong, naodahan and Wudaogou. In September 1958, the three townships were merged to form Xinglong people's commune. In 1970, Dongfanghong commune was set up in the north of the jurisdiction. At the beginning of 1984, Xinglong commune was changed into Xinglong Township. Xinglong Township is a mountainous area. With a total area of 2888.5 square kilometers, the township is rich in resources and rich in gold. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, gold mining was at its peak, with an annual output of nearly 100000 taels. After the establishment of the people's Republic of China, gold production was organized by the state. Xinglong gold mine of China National Gold Corporation is located in Xinglong Village. In recent years, the village has also organized manual gold mining, which is an important mineral area in Huma county and an industrial experimental Township with gold as the focus. The township has jurisdiction over Xinglong, erdaopanzha and Dalazi villages. At the end of 1992, the total population of the township was 2221. The township government is located in Xinglong Village.
