Shuanghe Township
Shuanghe township is located in the east of Weixin County, adjacent to Fenshui town of Xuyong County, Sichuan Province in the East, Shuitian town of the county in the south, Zhaxi town in the West and Gaotian town in the north. It is the only ethnic township in Weixin county. It has jurisdiction over eight villagers' committees, including pianyan, cizhuba, guojielou, banhe, Shuanghe, Tianchi, nanmu and Caiying, and 167 villagers' groups. By the end of 2005, there were 6859 households and 30981 people in total, including 6636 agricultural households and 30248 people, 1760 ethnic minority households and 8335 people, including 1619 Miao households and 7694 people, 141 Yi households and 641 people. The minority population accounts for 27% of the total population, mainly living in five village committees, including Tianchi, Shuanghe, banhe, pianyan and nanmu. The rural labor force is 14708, and the population density is 210 per square kilometer.
Basic introduction
Shuanghe Township covers an area of 146.8 square kilometers, with 36150 mu of cultivated land, 70% of the total cultivated land, 11.15 mu of cultivated land and 0.8 mu of basic farmland per capita, 90000 mu of woodland, 13020 mu of economic forest and 6800 mu of grassland. The vegetation coverage rate of the township is 51%. Shuanghe township is located in the east gate of Weixin, where Weixu highway passes from west to East. It is an important channel to Sichuan, Chongqing and other provinces and cities, with obvious location advantages. It has simple folk customs, rich ethnic customs, beautiful mountains and many tourist attractions. When you enter the Miao village, the simple and enthusiastic Miao people's songs and dances are colorful, which makes you an eye opener; when you are in the small stone forest, bamboo sea, jiudiequan Waterfall Scenic Spot, you will be in a fairyland, which makes you forget to return.
Natural conditions
The township government is located 17 kilometers away from Zhaxi County, 20 kilometers south to "Jiming three provinces". It is far away from Bijie City of Guizhou Province across the Chishui River, and 57 kilometers north to Gaotian Township Guandoushan stone carving group and the Old City Tianxing National Forest Park. The highest altitude of Shuanghe township is 1897.4 meters, and the lowest is 929 meters. There are many mountains and few plains in the area, and the main geomorphic features are "W" and "V" landforms. Cizhuba and Tianchi villages are typical Alpine mountainous areas, while Shuanghe, banhe, Laiying and nanmu are low-lying areas. The climate type of Shuanghe Township belongs to subtropical monsoon humid climate. It is cloudy and rainy in winter half year (November April next year), hot and rainy in summer half year (may October). The annual rainfall is more than 1100mm. The annual average temperature is 13.3 ℃, the average temperature of the hottest month is 22.70 ℃, the average temperature of the coldest month is 3.2 ℃, the frost free period is 285 days, the relative temperature is 85%, and the wind speed is 1m / s. The soil series are red soil, Baishan clay, yellow soil and cold sandy soil, most of which are poor and low fertility. The backwater from Xuyong County, Sichuan Province, converges with Shuanghe River and flows through Shuitian township to Chishui River. It is 13 km long in Shuanghe Township, with a riverbed gradient of 5 ‰, an average flow of 8.84 m3 / s and a water energy reserve of 7217 kW. The water energy reserve of Shuanghe township is nearly 10000 kilowatts. Restricted by geographical conditions, only 680 kilowatts are developed at present. In 2005, the net output value of grain per capita was 30425000 yuan, and the total income of farmers per capita was 30425000 yuan. 6008 people were exported and 14.4732 million yuan of labor income was realized.
