XiaJiaYing town is located in the east of Jiaocheng County, adjacent to Lingdi Township in the north, Qingxu County in Taiyuan City in the East, Yuzhen, Qingyuan town and Liudu Township in the East, Nan'an town and Xicheng Township in Wenshui County in the south, and Tianning town in the West. The town governs 16 administrative villages, with a total area of 54.81 square kilometers and a total population of 36769 (2017). XiaJiaYing town is listed as the key town of "hundred towns construction" in Shanxi Province, and Shanxi Jiaocheng Economic Development Zone (provincial level) is located in the jurisdiction of our town. There are 195 industrial enterprises of various types in the town, including 17 Enterprises above the designated size, and emerging backbone enterprises with strong competitive advantages in the same industry in the whole province and the whole country, such as Huaxin coal coke, Yiwang ferroalloy, Asia Pacific coking, Hongte chemical, Hongxing Chemical, gutejin casting, Zhongqi refractory, etc. XiaJiaYing town governs 16 villages: Yiwang village, Qin village, Duan village, Zheng Village, Wang Village, XiaJiaYing village, Daxin village, Xiaoxin village, Xinnan village, jiajiazhai village, lianjiazhai village, wangmingzhai village, Wangjiazhai village, guojiazhai village, hejiazhai village and wenjiazhai village.

Now it has 16 natural villages under its jurisdiction, namely: Yiwang village, Qincun village, Wangcun village, XiaJiaYing village, Daxin village, Xiaoxin village, Xinnan village, jiajiazhai village, Duancun village, Zhengcun village, lianjiazhai village, wangmingzhai village, guojiazhai village, hejiazhai village, Wangjiazhai village and wenjiasai village. The total population of the town is 36769 (2017), the agricultural population is 33213, the cultivated land area is 51692 mu, the total grain output is 10.89 million jin, the total economic income is 880.4 million yuan, and the per capita net income is 2702 yuan.

At the beginning of 2005, according to the relevant spirit of the State Council's "decision on further strengthening rural education work", Xinzhai junior high school started its construction on March 15 with the joint efforts of the relevant departments at a higher level and the four villages of Daxin, Xiaoxin, Xinnan and jiajiazhai. The project covers an area of 32 mu, with a construction area of nearly 26000 m2. It is a four level junior middle school, which can accommodate 12 teaching classes, 2 laboratories, 2 libraries, 2 instrument rooms and 2 microcomputer rooms. The total investment of the project is 1.8 million yuan. The school is a key project of school layout adjustment determined by Jiaocheng County Party committee in 2005. The project is expected to be completed and put into use in September.
