Shahe Town

Shahe Town (SH ā h é zh è n) is a town under the jurisdiction of Qingxin District, Qingyuan City. In the north of the central part of the county is a typical Intermountain basin, Riverside throughout the town. In the early Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty, a small polder was built near the river, named Shahe polder.

In May 2004, Shahe Town was abolished and its administrative region was merged into Heyun town.

Shahe commune was established in 1958, changed to district in 1983 and established as a town in 1986. In 2002, Shahe Town was under the jurisdiction of Xinzhou town. In May 2004, Shahe Town merged its administrative region into Heyun town
