Gaoqiao Street

Gaoqiao street, located in Dongxing District, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northeast of Dongxing District.

Gaoqiao street is adjacent to Tianjia town and Liuqiao town in the East, Guobei town in the south, Dongxing Street and Shengli Street in the west, and Shuangcai town in the north.

Gaoqiao street, covering an area of 33.71km2, governs one community and 16 administrative villages.

The origin of organizational system

On March 10, 2016, Sichuan Provincial People's government officially issued the reply of Sichuan Provincial People's Government on Approving the adjustment of some township administrative divisions in Dongxing District of Neijiang City (cfzm [2016] No. 2)

1、 Gaoqiao Town was abolished and Gaoqiao street was set up.

2、 Tongfu township was abolished and Tongfu town was established.

3、 Yongfu township was abolished and Yongfu town was established.

4、 Sanlie township was abolished and sanlie town was established.

Infrastructure

Gaoqiao street is in the forefront of the urbanization construction of Dongxing District Committee of the Communist Party of China. The investment in transportation network, urban and rural public services, environmental governance and other infrastructure construction is increasing, greatly accelerating the urbanization development process.
