Naodian town is located 12 kilometers east of Baofeng county. Naodian town has a long history. There is a provincial-level key cultural relic, dapumen temple in Xiangshan, which was founded in the late Eastern Han Dynasty and has been restored many times in song, Jin, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Naodian town is located 12 kilometers east of Baofeng County in Henan Province, with Jia County in the north and Xinhua District in the south, only 13 kilometers away from Pingdingshan City. Nanshai highway runs through the town from west to East, Pingjia highway runs through the north and south, Shixiang highway runs through the hinterland, with convenient transportation and unique location advantages. It is the transportation, business and cultural center in the east of Baofeng county. Historical evolution

Dongfeng commune was established in 1958, renamed Naodian commune in 1959, changed to district in 1961, restored to commune in 1965, changed to township in 1983, and established a town in 1994. In 1997, it covers an area of 61.5 square kilometers and has a population of 37000. History and culture

Naodian town has a long history. There is a provincial-level key cultural relic, dapumen temple in Xiangshan, which was founded in the late Eastern Han Dynasty and has been restored many times in song, Jin, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. Xiangshan temple is located in the north and south, covering an area of about 60000 square meters. The temple buildings are large-scale, with numerous steles, carved beams and painted buildings. In the center, there is a great compassion Guanyin pagoda. It is an octagonal nine level Pavilion style brick Pagoda with dense eaves. It is said that the great mercy Guanyin Bodhisattva is the third daughter of King Zhuang of Chu. Miao is good at practicing Buddhism here. She is buried under the relic tower, so she is called the great mercy Guanyin pagoda. On the first and fifteenth day of the lunar calendar every month, good men and women worship and worship from afar. Tourists from all over the world gather, and the incense lasts for a long time.

Since 2000, around the development of Xiangshan temple, the town Party committee and government have built Xiangshi tourism special line. In 2009, the town has set up an agricultural comprehensive development zone with an area of 10000 mu in the north, focusing on high-quality special wheat and high protein feed corn, vigorously developing "order agriculture". Taking Xiniu village in the West as the center, the town has built an 800 Mu "strawberry grape fruit tree vegetable high-efficiency vertical planting demonstration garden", and introduced new varieties such as guinegan and Virginia.
