Guanghua Street

Guanghua Street is subordinate to Qingyang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It governs Qinghua community, CAIDA community, Huanhua community, Huayuan community and Qingkang community.

Guanghua Street covers an area of 3.5 square kilometers and has a permanent resident population of 79765 (2010).

On December 25, 2019, Chengdu Municipal People's Government approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some streets in Qingyang District (CFH [2019] No. 119): Dongpo street was cancelled and the administrative area of Dongpo street was put under the jurisdiction of Guanghua Street. After the adjustment, Guanghua Street governs Shuangxin Road community, BeiSen Road community, Qingshuihe community, Dongpo Road community, CAIDA community, Huayuan community and Huanhua community west of the second ring road central line, and Qingkang community west of the second ring road central line. Guanghua Street office is located at 977 Yuyu road.

Historical evolution

Guanghua sub district office is a newly established office in Qingyang District of Chengdu on November 1, 2001 after the institutional reform and regional readjustment. The office was located in group 5, Xiyao village, Guanghua village street before July 2004. It was relocated to No. 10, Qingjiang South Street, Qingyang District in August 2004 and No. 188, Qingyang Avenue, Qingyang District in November 24, 2008.

The jurisdiction area is surrounded by "Huanhua scenic area", "Dufu thatched cottage cultural tourism area" and "Jinsha ancient cultural relics". It is bounded by Qingjiang road in the north, Dashi West Road of Qingshui River Bridge in the south, Qingyang Avenue in the West and North Caotang road in the East.

As a cultural industry plate integrating culture, leisure, catering and entertainment, the project covers a total area of 25 mu, with a total construction area of 16931 square meters and a total investment of more than 300 million yuan.
