Xinmin Town

Xinmin Town, subordinate to Mulan County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the middle and west of Mulan County, 57 kilometers away from the north of Mulan county. It is adjacent to Dagui town in the East and south, Dongxiang town and Heishan town in Bayan County in the west, and Dongxing town in the north. In 2018, the area was 221 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 27236.

In 1930, Xinmin Town of Mulan county was established. In February 1956, it was divided into Xinmin and Xinsheng townships. In March 1984, the commune was changed to township. In November 2002, the township was transformed into a town.

By the end of 2019, Xinmin Town has 13 administrative villages.
