Chang'an town is under the jurisdiction of Longmatan District, Luzhou City, Sichuan Province.

In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee reconfirmed the national health city (District) and the National Health township (county). Chang'an town is the National Health township.

Evolution of organizational system

Chang'an town was called Changchun Township in the early days of liberation. In 1958, it was changed into Changchun People's commune, and its office location was in cizhulin. In 1983, it was changed into Chang'an township. The office location was moved from cizhulin to yangsidian. Until 1992, the township was demolished and merged, and it belonged to texing town of Longmatan district. In 2014, Longmatan District adjusted its administrative division, abolished Chang'an Township and established Chang'an town.

In December 2019, the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Longmatan District of Luzhou were adjusted, Chang'an town was abolished, and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of texing street. Texing Street office was located at 211 texing Second Street.

Chang'an town is located in the east gate of Luzhou City, 15 kilometers away from the center of Luzhou City, bordering Zhaoya town of Luxian County, Shidong street of Longmatan District, and texing street of Longmatan district.
