Dayang town is a new town which was merged by the former Dayang town and Guoxing Township in March 2001. It is 16 kilometers away from the city.

Yaodu District is located in the eastern hilly area, South Fushan, North Hongdong, East Guxian, West duandian. There are gullies and slopes in the territory, with rolling hills, covering a total area of 115.65 square kilometers.
