Jianghai street is located in the south of suxitong Park in Nantong city. The request for instructions on the change of some administrative divisions (Chongchuan Zhengfa [2019] No. 76) is based on the existing preparatory committees of three residents' committees, namely, Tengfei, xinggangwan and Xingsu, of Jianghai Town Social Management Committee of suxitong Science and Technology Industrial Park. The administrative regions of Jiangdong village and Jianghai village of the former Zhuhang Street office are Jianghai Street office District, Jianghai sub district office is located at 588 Jiangshan Road, Tengfei residents committee.

The administrative region covers an area of 46.70 square kilometers and has a population of 60000. It has jurisdiction over three preparatory committees of residents' committees. The fourth one is "to the boundary of Haimen City in the East, to Dongfang Avenue in the west, to the shoreline of the Yangtze River in the South (except zone B of Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Zhenhua Port machinery base and reclamation area in the South), and to the Central River and Jianghai Road of Nantong Farm in the north".
