General situation

In 2001, the per capita net income of farmers was 2401 yuan, and the people's life in the township basically reached the well-off standard set by the state. From 1999 to 2002, 21 key well-off cooperatives were built, 980 brick houses were built, and the popularization rate of brick houses reached 66%. In three years, the township government subsidized the construction of well-off villages by 600000 yuan free of charge. Free subsidies of 230000 yuan enabled 23 villager groups to carry out water improvement projects. All the villagers bid farewell to the bitter and salty water. From 1996 to 2002, a total of 129 km of class IV rural roads were built, all of which were social roads.
