General situation
In 2002, there were 3070 households with a total population of 14964, including 13770 agricultural population and a total area of 130 square kilometers. The township has six village committees and 53 villager groups.
In 2001, the per capita net income of farmers was 2401 yuan, and the people's life in the township basically reached the well-off standard set by the state. From 1999 to 2002, 21 key well-off cooperatives were built, 980 brick houses were built, and the popularization rate of brick houses reached 66%. In three years, the township government subsidized the construction of well-off villages by 600000 yuan free of charge. Free subsidies of 230000 yuan enabled 23 villager groups to carry out water improvement projects. All the villagers bid farewell to the bitter and salty water. From 1996 to 2002, a total of 129 km of class IV rural roads were built, all of which were social roads. Since 1990, after ten years of efforts, the first phase of farmland supporting construction has been completed, with 20000 mu of flat land and 12 km of lined channels. 320000 farmland shelterbelts and green channel projects were built, and the channel project was rated as the high-quality model project of the whole league. In 2002, a 1000 head dairy farming district organized by the township government and privately built has been put into use, with 25 farmers and one milk station. With the investment of 30 million yuan from IFLA, the industrialization development of National Highway 110 economic belt has been extended in depth. In addition, in order to promote the development of individual and private economy, 350000 yuan was set aside from the township finance as the reserve fund for economic development, and used in the form of interest free or low interest as the working capital of advantageous projects with financial difficulties, which has achieved good economic and social benefits.

There are 35000 mu of sunflower interplanting spinach in the whole township. Only this item can increase farmers' income by more than 3 million yuan. There are 8000 mu of all kinds of small vegetable seeds planted in the whole township. There are 15 varieties of lettuce, such as chrysanthemum, lettuce, bitter cabbage, coriander and fennel in the current year. There are more than 10 kinds of biennial lettuce, such as cranberry, radish, onion and celery. The planting mode is interplanting with corn and sunflower. Planting vegetable seeds can increase farmers' per capita income by more than 800 yuan, and the benefit per mu is more than 1000 yuan.
