Heping Township, located in Longsheng County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, borders Lingchuan in the East and Lingui in the south. It is known as the "South Gate" of Longsheng. It is one of the villages and towns with 100 Li tourism corridor in Longsheng Autonomous County

Heping township is located in the southeast of Longsheng County, bordering Lingchuan in the East and Lingui in the south. The township government is 76 kilometers away from Guilin and 12 kilometers away from the county. The national highway 321 runs across the territory, and the transportation is very convenient. There are Dragon Ridge terraces in the territory. The township has 15 administrative villages, 186 villager groups and 15000 people of Yao, Zhuang, Han and other nationalities. With a total area of 237.3 square kilometers, there are 18794 mu of cultivated land, including 9736 mu of paddy field, 8858 mu of early land and 1855 mu of fruit. The forest resources are very rich, with a forest coverage rate of 78.1%. The water resources are rich, and the power development potential is broad. There are traditional "four treasures" of Longji in Heping township: Longji pepper, Longji tea, Longji fragrant glutinous rice and Longji water wine. In the past two years, we have introduced order agriculture such as tomatoes, silkworms and taro, established five production bases of agricultural products (famous and excellent fruits, Longji pepper, Longji tea, moso bamboo and Sanmu medicinal materials), strengthened the scientific and technological training for farmers, and continuously improved the content of agricultural science and technology. In 2003, the total agricultural output value reached 26.57 million yuan. Heping township is one of the villages and towns in the Baili tourism corridor of Longsheng Autonomous County. Relying on "party building + tourism", the township party committee and government actively cooperated with the county government and Guilin Longji hot spring Co., Ltd. to successfully hold tourism publicity activities such as "Red Dragon Ridge" and "golden autumn of Dragon Ridge", which greatly improved the popularity of Longji terraces. The most important ethnic tourist attractions in Luozhuang and Zhuzhuang villages are ethnic tourism areas. With the development of tourism, the circulation, transportation, catering, hotels and other tertiary industries are growing. Heping township has basically realized "every village has access to radio and television" and "every village has access to telephone". 86.7% of the village to village highway projects have been completed, and 76.3% of the village groups enjoy the convenience of the highway. The power stations that have been put into operation include Erlong power station, Longjing power station and Baishi power station, and the four power stations under construction are Heping, Tongmu, jieqian and Shuanghekou. The township enterprises have continued to develop, with 10 enterprises such as bamboo and wood processing and distillery. In 2003, the total industrial output value reached 20.75 million yuan.
