Xili Street
Xili street, belonging to Qiaoxi District, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, is located in the middle of Qiaoxi District, 5km away from the people's Government of Qiaoxi District. It extends to Youyi South Street in the East, Zhengang road in the south, Yuandong street in the West and Yuhua West Road in the north. The maximum distance between East and West is 3km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 1.5km, with a total area of 3.8km.
Xili street was originally Xili Township, belonging to Huolu County; on May 17, 1984, the government and society were divided and changed into Xili township; in April 2001, it was transferred to Qiaoxi District of Shijiazhuang and changed into Xili street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Xili street was 54200. As of June 2020, Xili street has jurisdiction over 12 communities, and the sub district office is located in Beidu Garden community, No. 69, deputy No. 1, Shiguang street.
In 2011, the operating income, added value and taxes of private economy in Xili street were 4.974 billion yuan, 1.48 billion yuan and 128 million yuan respectively, with an increase of 26.72%, 20% and 30.53% compared with the previous year.
History of construction
Xili street used to be Xili Township, belonging to Huolu county.
In 1939, it was put under Shimen city.
In December 1947, Shimen city was renamed Shijiazhuang city.
In February 1954, the fifth and sixth districts were merged into suburbs, which were changed to Sili township of Zhentou district.
In 1958, it was a satellite commune, and later changed to Xili management area of Jianliang commune.
In 1961, Jianliang commune was abolished and Xili management area was changed into Xili commune.
On January 1, 1962, the eastern and western suburbs were set up. Xili commune belonged to the western suburbs.
In 1965, the eastern and western suburbs merged into suburbs.
On May 17, 1984, the government and society were divided and the village of Sili was set up.
In April 2001, it was transferred to the West District of Shijiazhuang bridge and changed to Xili street.
