Dianzi town is located 9 kilometers north of Guanxian County, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, with a total area of 42.6 square kilometers and a cultivated area of 39200 mu. It governs 28 administrative villages and has a permanent resident population of 33615 (2017).

It was originally named "Qianjiadian", later called "Sanjiadian" with homonym, and then called "Qianjiadian" again. Now it is simplified as "dianzi". At present, there is still Kong Village in the territory, which was named after Confucius' travel to other countries and stayed here. At first, it was named Kong Sheng village, but later it was simplified as Kong village. It is a famous town of etiquette with profound Confucianism.

"Sweet potato" has been certified as pollution-free agricultural products by the agricultural product quality and safety center of the Ministry of agriculture. Known as the "hometown of sweet potato", yemazhuang village drives more than 100 administrative villages in more than 10 towns around, with annual planting area of about 2 million mu and annual output of 2 million jin. The main varieties are virus-free Beijing 553, Xinong 431 and Japanese golden potato. Others are virus-free Xushu 18, Xinyin 1, sushu 8, taishu 2, Jishu 6-8, etc. When a large number of local farmers are busy marketing their sweet potato products, they are also trying to improve the income of local farmers.

Ganoderma lucidum industry

Up to 2014, the Party committee and the government of the town have closely focused on the goal of "building" one Township, one industry "and promoting economic development. Based on the reality, they have adjusted the agricultural structure according to local conditions, vigorously developed the production of Ganoderma lucidum, and blazed a way to get rich with the cultivation of Ganoderma lucidum as the leading industry of the town. In 2010, there were more than 2000 Ganoderma lucidum greenhouses in the town, with a total of more than 7000. The annual output of Ganoderma lucidum reached more than 3.8 million kg, with an annual output value of 170 million yuan. The per capita net income of this item alone was more than 2200 yuan. Dianzi town has become the largest Ganoderma lucidum breeding town and the largest Ganoderma lucidum production and marketing distribution center in China. It was named "edible fungus production base" by the Provincial Department of agriculture, and "Ganoderma lucidum industrial production base" by the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The produced Ganoderma lucidum was recognized as pollution-free agricultural products by the quality and safety center of the Ministry of agriculture. Ganoderma lucidum has been exhibited in national and provincial agricultural expositions for many times. The town has been awarded the advanced unit of new rural area of small mushroom in Shandong Province by Shandong Edible Fungi Association, and the star town of industrial adjustment by Liaocheng municipal Party committee and municipal government. The project of "high yield and efficient cultivation technology and industrial development of commercial Ganoderma lucidum and antler Ganoderma lucidum" won the second prize of Liaocheng science and technology progress award.
