Fuxing town is located in Wangmo County, Qianxinan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. It is the residence of the people's Government of the county. To the west of the central part of the county, Buyi, Miao, Zhuang, Dong, Yao and other ethnic groups account for 85.7%, with an altitude of 550 meters. In the Qing Dynasty, Wang Mu Xun was set up, which was called Wang Mu in ancient times. It was translated into Buyi language, meaning the holy land of Wang Fu. There are sugar, iron wood cooperation, printing, soy sauce, cement and other factories in the town. Jiefang Road, Dongfeng Road and Xinqiao road are commercial centers in the town. Cedu and anwang highways meet here, 128 km from Luodian in the East, 110 km from Ziyun in the north and 61 km from Ceheng in the West. There are 21 primary and secondary schools in the town.

Infrastructure

Historical evolution

In 1932, Wang Mu town was established.

In 1940, it became the county government and renamed Fuxing town.

In 1958, the town was withdrawn to build Fuxing commune, and then Chengguan commune.

In 1984, it established Fuxing town and Luolang, Pingdong and pingrao townships.

Fuxing town was merged in 1992.

In 2013, Fuxing town was removed to build Wangmu street and hepingdong street.

Characteristic industry

Pingrao village, Fuxing Town, Wangmo County, is a Buyi village, which is also a well-developed and well preserved village of textile and embroidery handicrafts. There are more than 340 farmers and 1390 people in pingrao village. Almost all the Buyi women in the village are good at weaving and embroidery. On average, every farmer sells embroidered shoes, textile earth sheets and other products to the market in the slack season, earning thousands of yuan a year. Embroidery is a traditional craft that Buyi women are good at. Women often take their exquisite embroidery (including lapels, cuffs, lace, embroidered shoes, curtain edges, pillowcases, aprons, braces, etc.) as precious gifts or beautiful symbols.
