Wodi township is located in Yanyuan County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, with an area of 280.48 square kilometers and a population of 5630.

Huodi township was established in 1951, changed to Tuanjie commune in 1972, renamed Huodi commune in 1981, and restored to township in 1984. It has jurisdiction over seven village committees, namely Jiala, Qumi, Daquan, balaxi, dawanzi, heizhiluo and wazha. The main agricultural products in Wodi township are potato and corn. Animal husbandry is dominated by cattle, horses, sheep, pigs and poultry.
