Wodi township is under the jurisdiction of Yanyuan County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Huodi township was established in 1951, changed to Tuanjie commune in 1972, renamed Huodi commune in 1981, and restored to township in 1984. Wodi township is located in the north of the county, 80 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 280.48 square kilometers and has a population of 56.3 million. It has jurisdiction over seven village committees, namely Jiala, Qumi, Daquan, balaxi, dawanzi, heizhiluo and wazha. The main agricultural products in Wodi township are potato and corn.
