Xiaoxing'an forest farm is located 110 km northeast of Wudalianchi city. Its geographical coordinates are 126 ° 45 ′ 58 ″ - 127 ° 25 ′ 58 ″ e, 48 ° 52 ′ 39 ″ - 49 ° 11 ′ 33 ″ n. It is mainly dark brown soil, followed by meadow soil and latent dark soil.

Vegetation:

It belongs to the flora of Xiaoxing'an Mountains. The natural secondary forest is Larch and broad-leaved mixed forest. The main tree species are Larix gmelinii, Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica, Betula platyphylla, oak, black birch, poplar, Tilia, etc. more than 10 kinds; shrubs are hazelnut, Lespedeza, Rosa davurica, Rhododendron, etc. more than 30 kinds; herbs are more than 600 kinds. Among them, there are more than 200 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines, such as Codonopsis pilosula, Astragalus membranaceus, acanthopanax senticosus, etc.; more than 10 kinds of wild vegetables, such as Pteridium aquilinum, swallowtail, etc.; more than 10 kinds of vines, such as Vitis amurensis, Schisandra chinensis, etc.; more than 10 kinds of fungi, such as Tricholoma matsutake, Tricholoma erinaceus, Tricholoma hazelnut, Tricholoma yuan, etc.
