Xinhua Town is located 9 kilometers west of Kailu County Government, adjacent to Dayushu town in the west, Heping Town in the north and Qinghe township of Naiman Banner in the south.

The total area of the town is 144900 mu, including 60000 mu of cultivated land and 12258 mu of woodland. The town has 13 administrative villages, 17 stations, 13 primary and secondary schools, and 1 farmer's market. The total population is 15000, including 877 Mongolians.
