Sanshan township is located in Dantu County, Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. It was built in 1949 and then merged several times. It was restored to Sanshan people's commune in 1959 and renamed Township in 1983. It is located in the southern suburb of Zhenjiang City, guantangqiao in the northwest, Dantu Township in the northeast, Xinfeng Township in the East, Heyang township of Danyang County in the south, Shangdang Township in the southwest and Xilu Township in the West. With a total area of 37.2 square kilometers and 37948 mu of arable land, it has jurisdiction over 16 villager committees, 188 villager groups, 6466 households and 24500 people. There are also 1 family living in France, Canada, Malaysia and Japan, 10 in Hong Kong and 28 in Taiwan.

Sanshan township is high in the north and low in the south, with Laishan, Siping and Tushan in the north, and plain in the south, with shangxiahu, liwaihu, Dongxihu and Denghu, covering an area of 870 mu. Before liberation, the hills were often dry, the lakes were flooded, and there were many poor people who went out to make a living. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, 16 main rivers were excavated and dredged, with a total length of 31.76 km; Sanshan electric irrigation station was built, with 22.47 km of channels built throughout the territory; 21000 mu of land was leveled. It has 14 large and medium-sized tractors, 481 small tractors, 370 irrigation and drainage power machinery, with an effective irrigation area of 31800 mu. In 1985, the total grain output was 19.1132 million kg, the average annual yield per mu was 610 kg, and the rice yield per unit area was 450.5 kg, an increase of 11.4%, 55.1% and 55.3% respectively over 1978. The country was provided with 7.53 million kg of commodity grain, 307 kg per capita. Sidelines: 1592 kg cocoons, 1250 kg tea, 82300 kg fruits, 11000 pigs, 87900 poultry, 203500 kg fresh eggs and 91.8 tons adult fish.

The main products are leather shoes, light bulbs, burglar alarm, special steel, food, etc. There are 16 village run factories with a total output value of 5.5722 million yuan, and the total output value of individual industry is 1.9496 million yuan. In 1985, the total social output value was 31.1083 million yuan, including 13.81 million yuan of industrial output value, 11.9467 million yuan of agricultural output value, and 500.5 yuan of per capita income distribution. in 1983 and 1984, the township militia was rated as the national advanced unit of militia communication work for two consecutive times, and was praised by the Central Military Commission, the general staff, the Jiangsu provincial Party committee and the provincial government. In the provincial and national competitions, he won 5 gold medals and 3 silver medals; one person won the first-class merit and 25 people won the third-class merit; he delivered 18 radio communication professionals to the army. In 1985, there were 3 junior middle schools and Sanshan middle schools affiliated to the county, with 108 teachers and 1244 students; 25 primary schools, with 124 teachers and 2886 students; 1 township hospital, with 25 medical staff and 20 beds. Huang Xu, the resident of the township government, was originally Huang Ziwei and Xu Ziwei, and later merged the first word into the name. Among them, there are four natural villages: Shijia, Jiangjia, Chenjia and Nangang. After 1958, an earth road was built. In 1983, asphalt pavement was paved, about 0.5km long and 12m wide, connecting with Lu San highway (Lu Cun San Shan). County banks, tax offices, post and telecommunications offices, supply and marketing cooperatives, primary and secondary schools and other units, as well as township level organs, 11 rural factories, 1 collective store and 25 individual vendors are all located here. There are more than 2300 permanent residents, and now four natural villages have become a small market town.
