Binhai Street

Binhai street, a street under the jurisdiction of Xishi District, Yingkou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Xishi District, adjacent to wutaizi street in the East, Minxing River in the south, Liaodong Bay in the Bohai Sea in the west, Desheng street in the north and Qinghua street in the northeast, with a total area of 14.36 square kilometers.

In March 1949, the District street system was abolished, and the district was divided into three police stations: Fanrong, Xishi and Xingfu. In April 1981, Xishi street was restored. On March 8, 2004, Xishi street was redesigned and renamed Binhai street. At the end of 2011, the total population of Binhai street was 31201. By June 2020, Binhai street has jurisdiction over 11 communities and 5 administrative villages.

In 2011, there were 12 large-scale industrial enterprises and 638 employees in Binhai street, realizing an industrial added value of 1.16 billion yuan.

History of construction

In March 1949, the District street system was abolished, and the district was divided into three police stations: Fanrong, Xichang and Xingfu.

In September 1951, the district system was established, which belongs to the third district.

In July 1956, the district system was abolished and the West Market Street was established, directly under the city.

In January 1958, it was transferred to the West urban area.

In October 1968, it was changed into Taiyangsheng commune.

In August 1979, the commune was changed into Taiyangsheng street.

In April 1981, West Market Street was restored.

On March 8, 2004, the West urban area was re planned, and the West Market Street was renamed Binhai street.

By the end of 2011, Binhai street had three communities under its jurisdiction: Jinniushan, Wandu and Fenghuang, with 46 resident groups.

By June 2020, Binhai street has jurisdiction over 11 communities and 5 administrative villages: Jinniushan community, Fenghuang community, Wandu community, Xinhai community, Binhe community, Zhisheng community, Xinhu community, Lihu community, Hongqi community, Erdao community, Baimiaozi community, dashuitang village, Erdaogou village, Lanqi village, Huangqi village and Tuchengzi village. The sub district office is located in Jinniushan community No.3-a 13, South Road.
