Xingzhen
Xingzhen is subordinate to Pucheng County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. Located in the west of Pucheng County, it borders Qiaoling town and Chengguan town in the East, Jingyao town in the south, Sufang town in the West and Qiaoling town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 10.7 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 5.8 km, with a total area of 49 square kilometers.
In history, Xingzhen used to be the birthplace of paper industry and woodcut New Year pictures in the west of Pucheng County. With fireworks and firecrackers as the leading industries, it has become a well-known firecracker town in China.
As of June 2020, Xingzhen has one community and 13 administrative villages. As of 2018, Xingzhen registered residence population of 29745. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Xingzhen reached 120 million yuan, and the total industrial output value reached 120 million yuan.
Historical evolution

In Tang Dynasty, it was called jingshifang.
In the Qing Dynasty, because of its rich production of high-quality white paper, it was renamed jingzhifang, which was subordinate to xingyili in Lvyuan township.
In 1928, Xingshi town was established.
In February 1949, it belonged to Xingzhen district office.
In July 1957, it was renamed Xingshi town.
In October 1958, it was the Xingzhen administrative area of Xingshi town commune.
In August 1961, Xingzhen commune was established.
In March 1984, it was changed to Xingzhen Township, and in the same year, it was changed to town system.
