Weijialing Township, belonging to Jianchang County, Huludao City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Jianchang County, bordering on xijianchang Township in the East, toudaoyingzi Township in the south, yaolugou Township in the west, wangbaoyingzi Township and Lingyuan City in the north, with an administrative area of 100.14 square kilometers.

In the Qing Dynasty, weijialing Township belonged to Tanggou of laodazhangzi; in 1985, weijialing commune was transformed into weijialing township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Wei Jia Ling township was 12228. As of June 2020, weijialing township has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.

In 2018, weijialing Township had 36 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the Qing Dynasty, the territory of weijialing Township belonged to Tanggou of laodazhangzi.

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Sixth District of Lingyuan county.

In 1931, it was the Second District of Lingnan Administrative Bureau.

In 1936, it belonged to heishanhou village, the Second District of Lingyuan county.

In 1942, it was incorporated into Jianchang village.

In 1946, it belonged to the Second District of Jianchang County.

In 1949, it was divided into six communities, belonging to alkali plant.

In 1957, weijialing township was built.

In 1958, weijialing management area was changed to yaolugou commune.

In 1962, weijialing commune was established.

In 1985, weijialing commune was transformed into weijialing township.
