Zhouwang town of Xuanzhou District is located in the southwest of Xuanzhou District, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province. It is 31km away from Xuancheng City, 40km away from Yunling, Jingxian County, where the South Anhui incident happened, and 100km away from Huangshan scenic spot. It is the intersection of Xuanzhou District, Ningguo City and Jingxian County, and close to provincial highway 205.

In 2017, the administrative area of Zhouwang town was 10780 hectares, with a permanent population of 12229.
