Guanyun economic development zone is located in the south of Guanyun county. It is a provincial economic development zone with a total planning area of 40 square kilometers and a built-up area of 25 square kilometers. It has strong supporting service function and relatively complete industrial chain. By the end of 2011, 189 industrial projects with an investment of more than 30 million yuan were introduced, including 3 projects with an investment of more than 1 billion yuan, 148 projects with effective operation and 20000 new direct jobs.
