Jinshan Town
Jinshan Town, belonging to Guyang County, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the middle of Guyang county. It is adjacent to Yinhao town and xiashihao town in the East and Southeast, Qingshan District and Kundulun District in the south, Ming'an town of wulatqian banner in the southwest and West, xidoupu town in the northwest, xingshunxi town and huaishuo town in the north. It is 1 km away from the county government, with a total administrative area of 1382 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, the East and northeast of Jinshan Town were under the jurisdiction of maoming'an banner, and the West and southwest were under the jurisdiction of niaolate Donggong banner. In December 2005, Jiuzhi and hujigou were merged into Jinshan Town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Jinshan Town was 72263. In 2019, Jinshan Town governs 10 communities and 19 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 22 industrial enterprises in Jinshan Town, including 8 Enterprises above Designated Size and 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, the East and northeast of Jinshan Town were under the jurisdiction of maoming'an banner, and the West and southwest were under the jurisdiction of niaolate Donggong banner.
In 1926, it belonged to most areas of Guyang County, which was called five districts and seven districts in the southeast.
In November 1937, it belonged to the puppet County Office. The city and its surrounding areas were called counties and towns, and the southwest and South were called Minyi townships.
In 1945, it belonged to Guyang county. The city and its surrounding areas were called county towns, and the southwest and South were called Minyu township.
In March 1950, it was called the first district, belonging to Guyang county.
In June 1955, it was renamed Chengguan District.
In October 1956, Chengguan District was abolished and the jurisdiction of Chengguan town was expanded. The remote areas around Chengguan District were classified as adjacent areas.
In July and December 1958, it was changed into Chengguan commune and gongshengxi commune.
In March 1960, it was changed into five communes: City, nine members, commonweal people, dongshengshui and hujitao.
In May 1978, the city commune was changed into Chengguan town.
In July 1984, the four communes of Jiufen, gongyimin, dongshengshui and hujigou were changed to townships.
In August 1993, Chengguan town was renamed Jinshan Town.
In April 2005, hujigou Township and gongyimin Township were merged into gonghujigou Township, and dongshengshui township was merged into Jiuzhi township.
In December 2005, Jiuzhi and hujigou were merged into Jinshan Town.
