When the park was built in 1984, with the joint efforts of the army and the people of Changji City, a large-scale renovation of the park was carried out, with rockeries of 15 meters high and artificial lakes of 26240 square meters piled up, In 2006, the municipal government attached great importance to the construction and development of the park, invested 1.5 million yuan to carry out a large-scale transformation of the park, adding 30000 square meters of Huagang fish watching scenic spot, newly planted lawn and 2 kilometers of water stream.
