Zhongcheng Street

Located in the center of Xinluo District of Longyan City, Zhongcheng street is the gathering place of economy, trade, culture and education of Longyan city. In 1998, it has jurisdiction over 10 communities (Beiguan, Fenghuang, Beimen, Xinxin, Tuanjie, Huling, xingmen, Meilin, Zhongjie and Xijie). Historical evolution

In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Tieshi township. From the Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China, it was Suo Nei Fang and Wu'an Fang. After 33 years of the Republic of China, it was Yongning, Sanmin, Zhongzheng, Zhongshan, Huling, wucai and beimenbao of Xinluo town.

In November 1949, it belonged to three villages of Wuan, suonei and Ximen in Longzhou city. In April of the next year, it was attached to the urban area. In January 1955, it was divided into Ximin street and Zhongmin street. It was incorporated into Chengguan town in 1953. In 1958, the neighborhood committees of West and middle streets and the production brigades of West and middle streets belonged to Chengguan commune. In 1968, the second neighborhood committee was incorporated into the production brigade. In 1979, the central street, Chengxi neighborhood committee (part) and the West Street, Zhongjie brigade belong to Chengguan town. In 1982, Zhongcheng sub district office was set up, with jurisdiction over Huling, xingmen, Beimen, Beiguan, Fenghuang, Xinxin, Tuanjie neighborhood committee, Zhongjie and Xijie brigades. In 1987, there were 7 neighborhood committees and 2 village committees.
